You may have heard the term “essential fatty acids” before. Well, they’re essential for a reason – our body needs them!
The human body can make most of the types of fat it needs from raw materials or other fats, but not omega 3. While it is critical for the proper functioning of your body, the body cannot make omega 3, so it must be consumed through food or supplements.
